We're assuming January 2026 will turn out to be quite busy for gaming showcases, with the Xbox Developer Direct showcase set to be the main event over the coming weeks, but we've also got a new show happening next week.
This is known as the "New Game Plus" showcase, which is said to be bringing 45 games our way on January 8th. It will be a mixture of gameplay, interviews and trailers for everything from indie titles to big AAA releases.
Naturally, there are a lot of unknowns surrounding this showcase as things stand, but it seems that content creators Jake Lucky, Luality, Luke Stephens, Blue Thunder and IAmRob are all involved with it.
The team has also suggested that upcoming open world RPG Crimson Desert will be part of the broadcast.
We'll keep an eye out on January 8th and bring you any relevant reveals for the Xbox audience, and you can watch it for yourself via the New Game+ Showcase YouTube channel on January 8th at 1pm PT / 4pm ET / 9pm GMT.
