Seven New Games Added To Xbox Retro Classics, Including A PS1 Title From 1997

Microsoft has added seven new games to its Xbox Retro Classics library for November 2025, following the four that joined the lineup around this time in October.

We've actually got a PS1 title in the mix for November as well! The Lost Vikings 2 is that game, which is a puzzle-platformer that received pretty good reviews back in 1997. The original SNES version has also been made available separately on Xbox Retro Classics, along the first iteration of the series that arrived in 1993.

Beyond that, we've got some racing games that are well worth a try, along with the cinematic platformer Blackthorne - again available in two different forms depending on which console version you want to play.

Here are your new Xbox Retro Classics titles for November 2025:

  • Blackthorne (1994) (SNES)
  • Blackthorne (1995) (SEGA Genesis)
  • Rock N' Roll Racing (1993) (SNES)
  • RPM Racing (1991) (SNES)
  • The Lost Vikings (1993) (SNES)
  • The Lost Vikings 2 (1997) (SNES)
  • The Lost Vikings 2 (1997) (PS1)

Rock N' Roll Racing is a game we want to highlight here as well - a really fun title that goes so hard in terms of its soundtrack, featuring renditions of Paranoid by Black Sabbath, Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf and many other classics.

The folks at Antstream Arcade have already committed to bringing more games to Xbox Retro Classics in 2026, so the lineup will continue growing as we move forward. It's looking pretty impressive at this point!
