Vampire Survivors Is Adding Online Co-Op To The Xbox Game Pass Hit This Autumn

How do you make Vampire Survivors even better?! You add online co-op to it!

That's what's officially happening at some point this Autumn, with the development team confirming it'll be one of the (seemingly five) big new features added as part of update 1.14.

There's no release date yet, but they've acknowledged that's technically Autumn right now!

"Free roam the stages whilst your friend struggles to find their way through Astral Stair, or maybe see if you can all survive Room 1665… More players doesn’t make it easier, or does it? Autumn is our time to shine, so be sure to come back next week to see what the following card will reveal… we might finally answer a burning question that has been asked thousands of times.”

They're obviously keeping plenty of other features for update 1.14 under wraps at the moment, but in some follow-up questions on social media, it's been confirmed that online crossplay won't be available at launch but is being looked into, while there are no plans to implement public lobbies due to how "chaotic the game can become".

In other words, you're going to need a friend (or a few) on Xbox if you want to team-up later this year.

We'll keep an eye out for all of those other features heading our way very soon, and then we'll be back with a release date for the new Vampire Survivors update as soon as it's made available. Bring it on!
