Following our hands-on impressions of The Outer Worlds 2 earlier today, we thought you might be interested in how the game is shaping up across both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S!
Fuzion Xbox Testing has become our go-to for stuff like this - we're not affiliated with the channel whatsoever, but it's a great source for getting early snapshots of how a game performs on both of Microsoft's current-gen consoles.
We mentioned in our impressions piece that the Xbox Series X version contained three different performance modes - and all of them have been tested out and showcased here. The Series S version has two modes in comparison, but the great news is that both versions can go up to 120FPS - with a compatible display of course.
When playing the opening hours before the game's public launch, we noticed some slight stuttering on all-but the performance mode on Series X, so we'd still recommend going with that option on that console for now. Having said that, there's every chance that Obsidian will have tweaked things for the full release - so by all means mess around with each mode and see what you think when you get your hands on the game!
