Two Big Upcoming Releases Are Available To Try On Xbox This Week

There's so much to check out on Xbox right now! The amazing Xbox Demo Fest is packed full of over 40 free games for you to try, and we've also got more great stuff coming our way over the next few hours.

Specifically, we're talking about two big October releases that are available try on Xbox as of later today, with one being the beta for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, and another being a demo for Digimon Story: Time Stranger!

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage

In order to get signed up for this, the official Virtua Fighter website suggests you just need to get yourself a SEGA Account and "obtain a code via the campaign site".

The Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage beta begins today (September 10th) at 8pm PDT / 11pm EDT.

Here's how to get involved:

  1. Register for a SEGA Account and link it to your desired platform.
  2. On or after the start date of the Closed Beta Test, visit the product code distribution campaign site (SEGA Account Campaign).
  3. Log in with your registered SEGA Account and select your desired platform.
  4. Obtain your Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage Ver. Beta product code from the campaign site.

Digimon Story: Time Stranger

Digimon Story: Time Stranger is a little easier, as it's simply a free demo that'll soon be live on the Xbox Store.

As you can see, this demo goes live at 12am local time on September 11th, and it allows you to play the entire opening section of the new Digimon RPG, while also including a mode that lets you freely explore Central Town.

Better yet, your save data will also carry over to the full game when it releases on October 3rd!

Both of these should be well worth a play ahead of their launches in October, and if you decide to pick them up as a result, pre-orders are already available - Virtua Fighter is actually as cheap as £15.99 / $19.99 on the Xbox Store.

Please do let us know how you get on with these - we're particularly intrigued about the new Digimon game!
