Now that pre-orders have been locked in and the full launch details have been shared by Microsoft, we're full-speed ahead towards the ROG Xbox Ally next month - and ahead of the device's October 16th release, an early unboxing of the more expensive X model has appeared online.
It's a brief unboxing we must admit, but we've thrown the clip up above so you can get a good idea of what comes in the box here. We're digging the sleek and simple packaging on show, and the device is front and centre as soon as you open up the box - kind of like how Xbox Series X and S have been packed since 2020.
You can also see that this package does contain a charge cable, despite reports that certain sites aren't listing a charger as being part of the package. This appears to be limited to certain regions (some European listings suggest there's no adapter included) but yeah - it's clearly present here and says it'll be included on US and UK listings of the device as well.
We'd expect to see lots more coverage on ROG Xbox Ally's packaging contents as we near next month's launch, but for now, we just thought we'd share this very first unboxing of the system with you right away! There's not long to go at this point; we're officially less than three weeks away from launch.
