Have you heard about this game called Ananta yet? It's racked up 1.5 million views in just 24 hours on the PlayStation YouTube channel, and for good reason - it looks like a mix of GTA, SpiderMan, Watch Dogs and so many other games!
You can watch that video up above if you haven't seen it yet, but we know the question that many of you are interested in - will Ananta be coming to Xbox? Well, based on first impressions, it looks like it probably won't be.
We've had a look at the official Ananta website and discovered that right at the bottom of the page, the following platforms are listed: PS5, PC, iOS, Android, "and more".
Additionally, back when the game was called Project Mugen, the game's developers conducted an interview with IGN and mentioned that it was planned for PC, PlayStation, "and many other platforms".
IGN: On that note, where is Project Mugen at in its development and when is it likely to release?
Ash Qi: "Unfortunately I can’t tell you right now the exact time frame for launch. We’re preparing to launch Project Mugen on PC, PlayStation, and many other platforms. Right now we are in the busiest stage of development, because we have so much content to create to fill this open world in order to provide our players with enough of an experience when they play it."
This definitely doesn't shut the door on a potential Xbox version of Ananta, but the developers haven't mentioned Xbox at any point during the game's development cycle, so we're assuming it'll skip Microsoft consoles at launch.
Anyway, there's no Xbox release date for Ananta as things stand, so perhaps we'll learn more as the months (and maybe years?) roll on. For now, we'll leave you with a bit more information on the game below.
Looking for a change of pace? Come to Nova City! Play as the new captain of a special task force and interact with a charming (and eccentric) cast of characters as you build a team all your own. Drop into all sorts of thrilling roles while playing as different team members such as the department head, a well-to-do elite, and a hacker. Carry out missions for varying organizations like the NCAA, DK9, Cat Express and more. However, never forget that the name of the game is bolstering your team, not your own reputation.
