The Elder Scrolls Online Is The Latest Bethesda Game To Add Mods On Xbox

We've seen Bethesda add console mods to the likes of Fallout, Starfield and Skyrim over the past few years, and now The Elder Scrolls Online is joining the list - "player-made add-ons" were made available for the first time this week.

Thanks to this, you can now take advantage of mods that add a detailed minimap, display resource nodes, chests, heavy sacks and other things in the world, and much more. Bethesda says the mods are limited to "only UI add-ons" at the moment, although we have spotted a few others that appear to automate the process of crafting as well.

"We are thrilled to finally bring add-ons to ESO’s console players, starting today! If you play ESO on Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5, you can now download and enjoy player-made add-ons. Introduced with the recent Update 46 base-game patch, but only now enabled, console add-ons can be found within ESO’s game menus."

To find ESO mods on Xbox, all you need to do is go to "Options" in the game, find "Add-Ons" and then "Browse Add-Ons", search for what you want and hit the "Install" button. There's also a "Manage Add-Ons" section where you can enable and disable certain mods - keep in mind that some of them might not work properly on Xbox.

So, feel free to go and explore the new ESO mods on Xbox, and let us know how you get on with them! To help you get started, we'll leave a video down below from YouTuber Grave Gaming highlighting a bunch of the early Xbox add-ons.
