Fancy playing a co-op climbing game that's just racked up two million sales in nine days on Steam? Well, we're hoping the game, known as PEAK, will be available on Xbox at some point - but you might need to wait a while for it.

PEAK officially launched on Steam last week to "Very Positive" reviews, but the bigger story was how it racked up a massive amount of sales in such a short time, ensuring that developers Aggro Crab (known for Another Crab's Treasure) and Landfall (known for Totally Accurate Battle Simulator) had secured themselves a viral hit.

Here's how the game is described, and you can watch the trailer up above:

"PEAK is a co-op climbing game where the slightest mistake can spell your doom. Either solo or as a group of lost nature scouts, your only hope of rescue from a mysterious island is to scale the mountain at its center. Do you have what it takes to reach the PEAK?"

PEAK isn't on Xbox and doesn't have an Xbox release date yet, but the developers have suggested it "might" come to Xbox in the future. In the game's official FAQ on Discord, it's mentioned that the focus is on Windows PCs for now, but the team may decide to support more platforms at some point.

This FAQ was seemingly written before the game sold two million copies in a few days as well, so it seems a very safe bet to suggest PEAK will end up on Xbox eventually! Surely it's just a matter of time...

Oh, and this is the kind of game that's bound to work great on the ROG Xbox Ally handheld! It's apparently excellent on the Steam Deck already, and although it's listed with "partial" controller support, the actual gameplay is said to work fine (it's the settings menu that you might have issues with). Just something to keep in mind if you're getting one...
