Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (May 8-11)

Update [Thu 8th May 2025, 4:25pm]: Xbox Wire has now officially posted its Free Play Days update, and as it turns out, Still Wakes The Deep will only be getting a two-hour trial as part of the program - although it is available to all Xbox players. We've amended the list and added that information down below.

Original Story: Free Play Days is BACK, and we have another pair of recently-released Xbox titles to jump into for free this weekend - including The Chinese Room's fantastic horror effort Still Wakes The Deep

Here's what you can play with Xbox Free Play Days over the coming weekend:

• PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs
• Still Wakes The Deep (two-hour trial for all Xbox players)

You'll need a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core, Xbox Game Pass Standard or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take part in Free Play Days this weekend. This pair of FPD titles will then be playable for free until late on Sunday, May 11th.

In terms of having a bit longer to get stuck into these titles if you so wish, there are some good options this week. Still Wakes The Deep is a part of the main Xbox Game Pass library, while the included PAC-MAN title is a whopping 90% off right now on the Microsoft Store.

Xbox Free Play Days - How To Download The Games

1. Search for the game on the Xbox Store
2. Hit the "Install, Included with Game Pass" or "Free Trial" button
3. Play the game!
