Free Play Days: Try These Xbox Games For Free (May 1-4)

Our first Free Play Days selection for May 2025 is here, and although it's a small list this week, a big Xbox first-party game is leading the lineup for Microsoft.

Here's what you can play with Xbox Free Play Days over the coming weekend:

• Forza Motorsport
• The Escapists

You'll need a subscription to Xbox Game Pass Core, Xbox Game Pass Standard or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to take part in Free Play Days this weekend. This pair of FPD titles will then be playable for free until late on Sunday, May 4th.

Of course, Forza Motorsport is a part of the main Xbox Game Pass library - so if you're subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate you can carry on playing the Turn 10 racer beyond the weekend. As for The Escapists, that one is 80% off on the Xbox Store during this Free Play Days period if you'd like to grab it for keeps.

1. Search for the game on the Xbox Store
2. Hit the "Install, Included with Game Pass" or "Free Trial" button
3. Play the game!
