We're officially renaming today Oblivion Remastered day with all of the surprise information that's being thrown our way, and now Microsoft has added another drop into the mix - a new dynamic background for Xbox Series X and S consoles.
Yep, to celebrate the launch of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Team Green has added its latest Xbox dynamic background to the console's ever-growing roster. The animated wallpaper is based on the image up above, and The Verge's Tom Warren has shown off the video version of this on social media - which we'll chuck down below too.
We may well be swept up in the Oblivion hype right now but this new dynamic background definitely has a chance to stake its claim on our consoles - it looks rather good and has a nice level of animation to it as well. You can apply the background immediately on Microsoft's pair of current-gen consoles.
As for what else is going on in the world of Oblivion Remastered, well, what's not going on?! The game has just shadow dropped on Xbox Game Pass, we have plenty of tech specs and details from Microsoft on the remastered title, and it seems to be doing incredibly well for the team already.
