After Less Than A Year, Crash Team Rumble Is Getting Its Final Update

It was back in June of last year that Crash Team Rumble made its debut on Xbox and other platforms, and nine months later, it's sadly about to receive its very final content update. The last major patch goes live on Monday, March 4th.

Fortunately, this doesn't mean the game is going offline (at least not yet) - instead, it's actually getting a free 500-tier battle pass with 104 new items, including all the content that was made available from Seasons 1-3.

Although it's not mentioned here, the reason is almost certainly because developer Toys for Bob has decided to go independent, and we're also guessing that Crash Team Rumble hasn't been a massive success for Activision.

It'll definitely be interesting to see where the Crash Bandicoot franchise goes next, especially now that it it's in the hands of Xbox. Will we get more remakes? Crash Bandicoot 5? Additional spin-offs like Crash Team Rumble? Who knows?!
