Xbox Remote Play Is Adding Full Support For Touch Controls On Android & iOS 3

We absolutely love the Remote Play functionality for Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, which allows you to stream your console remotely to a PC or handheld device, and it's about to get even better in the near future!

As you can see above, Xbox is currently testing the addition of touch controls for Xbox Remote Play on Android and iOS devices. This is full support, so you can even navigate the Xbox dashboard using touch controls alone.

In recent years, we've seen touch controls being implemented for Xbox Cloud Gaming titles on an occasional basis, and each title usually includes bespoke control layouts. In the case of Xbox Remote Play though, it looks like we'll be getting a generic overlay that works for nearly all of the Xbox One, Series X and Series S libraries.

At the moment, you can only access this feature via the Xbox Beta app on your mobile device, but it should be rolling out to the standard Xbox app at some point in the near future. Is this something you'll be using? Tell us down below!
