Lords Of The Fallen Console Crossplay Goes Live Today As Game Hits Impressive Sales Milestone

Lords Of The Fallen may have suffered from a bit of a rough launch on Xbox, but the team has been quick to implement updates so far - and a new feature is arriving today.

Yep, CI Games is adding crossplay between Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 today, while PC to console crossplay will make its debut on October 26th - alongside another "expansive patch" for the soulslike RPG.

Clearly, soulslikes are the genre of the moment right now. Alongside the above info on crossplay and an incoming patch, the team is "proud" to have hit one million sales in under two weeks. Here a quote from CI Games' CEO Marek Tyminski on this impressive sales milestone and the team's journey with Lords of the Fallen so far:

"Lords of the Fallen is the most important and ambitious game we’ve developed in our 20-year history, and the first in our new planned AAA pipeline of games in the years ahead [...] To see this fresh and innovative take on the action-RPG achieve one million sales in just 10 days has been humbling for everybody at HEXWORKS and CI Games."

Despite the commercial success, critical reception was a little bit mixed at launch earlier this month. If you'd like to read up on some early opinions of Lords of the Fallen, we'll drop a link to our initial review roundup down below.
