Today's a big day for basketball fans, as NBA 2K24 is now available across all platforms including Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S! Multiple versions of the game can be bought on the Xbox Store, ranging from $59.99 for the Xbox One edition all the way up to $149.99 for the 25th Anniversary Edition.

We're still waiting on the first NBA 2K24 reviews to hit the web at the time of writing, but we've seen plenty of praise for the gameplay from players over at Operation Sports so far. Let's hope those initial impressions are on the money...

If you can, it's worth paying a little more for the Xbox Series X|S version this year as it features ProPLAY technology which promises to deliver "a generational leap in authenticity", and it also includes cross-play support between Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5. Xbox One owners miss out on cross-play in NBA 2K24, but they do at least get access to the big new Kobe Bryant "Mamba Moments" mode.

We'll throw more details about NBA 2K24 down below, along with the new launch trailer above.

"NBA 2K24 builds on the NBA 2K franchise with enhanced features and gameplay, delivering animations and movements pulled from real-world action on the court for a groundbreaking jump in authenticity."
