Sniper Elite 5's post-launch content plan has officially run its course. Developer Rebellion has unveiled its final DLC pack today, titled 'Kraken Awakes', which adds new missions, weapons and skins to the Xbox Game Pass shooter.
As the name suggests, Sniper Elite 5's Kraken Awakes mission tasks players with infiltrating the 'Operation Kraken' aircraft carrier; taking out German bad guys along the way of course. Here's a bit more on what the new mission entails:
"Karl Fairburne, the legendary sniper, must utilise the cover of darkness and harness the power of shadows to sabotage an under-construction aircraft carrier, that is the new home of Operation Kraken, and ensure it never sets sail. The fate of the Allies hangs in the balance as you face off against Friedrich Vogel, former deputy to Abelard Möller and the new mastermind behind this diabolical scheme.
Prepare for an unforgettable adventure as you navigate an intricately designed military dock and unravel the mysteries hidden within the sprawling aircraft carrier. The pack also contains the new Mod.712 pistol and a couple of customisation options, and comes in at £9.99 / €10.99 / $10.99 on its own or as part of the £24.99 / €29.99 / $29.99 'Season Pass Two'.
