We've already highlighted one of the games coming to Xbox Game Pass this week (Eastern Exorcist), so we may as well do the other one! Ghostlore arrives in just a few short hours, releasing on May 18th, 2023.

Ghostlore has been available on PC Game Pass since late 2022, where it's racked up an average of 3/5 stars on the Xbox Store. On Steam, it has a "Very Positive" rating - although that's only based on just over 200 user scores.

Here's the official description:

"Ghostlore is an 'Eastpunk' Action-RPG where you fight monsters from Southeast-Asian folklore. Inspired by timeless classic ARPG's such as Diablo 2 and Titan Quest, Ghostlore features a detailed item and character customization system, procedurally generated maps, and an authentically retro 90's aesthetic."

The Xbox launch of Ghostlore coincides with the full release of the game, as it's been in Early Access since April 2022. Since then, the two developers who work on it have implemented various improvements including map refinements, a skill system revamp, side-game and post-game content, and more monsters.

We'll throw a few more details about Ghostlore down below, along with some screenshots.

"The bloodthirsty Penanggal is a gruesome creature of with origins in Malay folklore. It comprises of nothing more than a disembodied head and dangling entrails. The Indonesian Babi Ngepet myth tells of sorcerors who sacrifice their humanity in order to become boar demons.
