Xbox's Phil Spencer just celebrated his 55th birthday last week, and the New York Game Awards show has delivered quite the birthday present for the Xbox boss.

Phil attended last night's award show and walked home with the "Andrew Yoon Legend Award" - a prize that the boss is clearly proud of!

Spencer has garnered a number of awards during his time as Head of Xbox, and we must admit, this one sounds quite fitting for the Xbox leader! The awards show says this particular prize aims "to recognize people and organizations that have exhibited a significant, sustained body of work that shows exceptional artistic achievement and innovation."

That body of work looks set to grow in 2023, as Xbox ramps up its exclusive games schedule this calendar year. Let's hope we see a more organised schedule with release dates in about a week's time, following the January Xbox Developer_Direct.

Let us know your hopes for the Xbox event down in the comments. Oh, and feel free to congratulate Phil on his award!
