Microsoft has officially announced October 2022's Xbox Games with Gold, giving us a look at a couple more games we'll be able to play at no extra cost with our Gold memberships next month.
In case you missed it, the games are Xbox One titles Windbound and Bomber Crew Deluxe Edition. As of this month, Microsoft is no longer including Xbox 360 games as part of Games with Gold, so it's just the two offerings now.
So, this is our first month without any Xbox 360 titles included as part of Games with Gold, and therefore the program is about to become even more scrutinised. The question is, are you happy with what's on offer for October?

I thought maybe now they've ditched the 360 games it might improve the over all quality but..

Wanted to play Windbound and have heard good things about Bomber Crew. Not the greatest but Yes, i'm happy.
Pretty bad imo. Glad if other find them enjoyable, of course. But it seems like the bulk agrees this is just super weak.
This program makes absolutely no sense anymore…
I live in hope that these were chosen before the 360 games were known to be ending, but it's small hope. 2 less games with the Xbox One games quality not improving is a major disappointment.
Heh so now we not only get less bad games but less games in general. Are we happy? Of course we are!
Just put this out of it's misery and move the funds towards more Game Pass titles.
Windbound was on my wishlist on switch for a long time so I am happy with this selection.
Windbound is pretty good so I reccomend people at least give it a try
Nit sure how I wl feel about "just two games" going forward but this month I'm quitte happy these are games I was interested in

I had Windbound on my wishlist so I'm not too fussed about Octobers games with gold.
@IOI It makes perfect sense. They're just failing to do anything with it.
I'm personally about to cancel my Gamepass subscription because of how bad it's been. This still gives games to prow that just use gold.
Xbox made record profits this year but now are giving customers half the amount of games for the same price.
Not a good look in my opinion.
Personally, I don’t want them to scrap Games with Gold. I want them to improve the offerings and strengthen the service.
This does the opposite.
Bomber Crew was in gamepass before, okay game, Windbound will check it out, its okay, not good nor bad
