I hope nobody is that stupid to buy this. They didnt even show gameplay
It definitely has micro transactions then 👎🏻
@fabisputza007 b-bbbut it's ac 🥺
@Would_you_kindly So did all the recent AC game and it had zero impact on the gameplay.
That said I am a little worried by the infinity hub tying the games together. I feel this might be a step towards shoving nft's into the AC franchise.
I hope I am wrong but Ubisoft haven't been shy about their wish to put nfts into their games even though it failed miserably in their first attempt.
Time will tell either way I guess.
Still last generation in 2023
If towards the end of 2023 that will three years
Into the current generation.
@BBB See, when it comes to microtransactions in games like AC, I'm okay with it. Like you've said, they've been in for a while now and haven't at all hurt the pace or gameplay. That's the sort of system I can overlook.
As for Infinity, I agree with someone on here that likened it to The Master Chief Collection. I think we're just going to get some sort of hub, and multiplayer additions that take maps and cosmetics from games within said hub. Like you, I'm cautious about it, but we'll just have to see what happens.
I'm a little surprised that they have no plans to include Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla in the hub, unless that comes later down the line?
I'd buy it if I had that kind of money to spare. Living in South America sucks.
@BBB Infinity is just a launcher, probably a replica of the Animus interface as much as anything. All the future AC games will be like bits of DLC within it as well as disc games (see the Eurogamer interview) It will be like the PC interface in AC4.
@fabisputza007 this was my exact first thought, we haven’t seen the game yet. And there are definitely people who will jump on this so they can inflate the price later on eBay
No gameplay lets open those preorders
@BBB I know they were I was just hoping this would be more like the classic games & not have them & I think it did effect them abit because there was 'time saving' micro transactions so I think the games were abit more of a grind as a result of wanting people to pay for those things
@fabisputza007 the reason you would pre-order this is for the collectibles. Those are limited, so I would be okay with people preordering for that reason alone. I hope no one is preordering just the game.
Really surprised there’s no switch version
Is this going to be available on X1X? I can only see Series X listed.
EDIT: Now shows Xbox One/Series X. Pre-ordered deluxe (can't justify the extra cost of the other one). Also used 100cr I had lying around to get almost a tenner off and free delivery! WOOHOO!
I've ordered this directly from the Ubisoft Store. I used 100 of the U tokens that you earn through playing their games, and go a £26 discount as a consequence, bringing the price down to £104 delivered. Bearing in mind that this also includes the Deluxe version of the game too, I well chuffed with my purchase. I also received 104 U tokens as a result of the purchase, too, meaning I actually have 4 more tokens than I started with...
