The sole Rare offering on display during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase was Sea of Thieves. The UK developer will be kicking off Season 7 on July 21st across Xbox consoles, PC and cloud.
This update will include the ability for pirates to save their ship loadout, customise their cabin, name their ship and will also include quick cash-in points.. Of course, if you've got access to Xbox Game Pass, you'll be able to access all of the new content without even owning the game.

I wonder if I should try jumping into it as solo player. The times I tried to use matchmaking was a horrible experience, everybody is so toxic. (No I got no gamer friends who play this game)
@tatsumi just set your expectations that anything can happen. It really sucks losing loot but the game can feel like a story book.
I love sea of thieves. Great times and memories with myself and with friends and loved ones. I really enjoyed that they gave Xbox communities like sea of thieves, elder scrolls, fall out 76 and MFSM some love. I think live service games get a lot of hate but these games are fantastic by yourself and with friends and with the communities involved.
@tatsumi Just go into each session with an open mind. Toxicity is pretty avoidable (just leave) if you don't get too attached to the loot before you turn in. I know it can be spooky for single-player types, but try and have a mic. There are more people on SoT trying to help you than you might think.
@tatsumi You can play solo, but it's "hard mode" as the game is designed around a co-operative crew experience. Random crews are luck of the draw sadly.
This is an update we've all been waiting for since launch. It doesn't sound like much, but these quality of life updates are the ones that have the most lasting impact long term. Compared to missions that are fun, but you'll play once or twice.
I'm sure there'll be more adventure missions happening as well though.
