Update: We've now got dates for the games that will be leaving soon, along with another title in the form of Remnant: From The Ashes which will also be leaving on May 15th. We've updated the table below with all the new details.
Original story: Microsoft has revealed the first set of games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in the early part of May, including some big departures such as GTA: San Andreas and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.
Here's the full list of games currently set to leave in the early part of May:

As always, Xbox Game Pass members can get a discount of (at least) 20% on these titles before they're removed. We haven't got an official date for when they'll be leaving Game Pass yet — that should arrive later this week.

Not very good that they're all date TBD. Come on Microsoft let us plan accordingly, it shouldn't be this hard. I've started FFX and could probably finish it if we have 2 or 3 weeks but not if it's earlier.
@themightyant For what it's worth, The Wild At Heart and Enter The Gungeon both say they're leaving on May 16th on the Xbox App for PC, which usually translates to an official announcement of the 15th (that makes no sense, but it's usually what happens!).
I expect all of these will be given an official leaving date of May 15th aside from possibly GTA: San Andreas.
We should know for sure on Tuesday.
I should jump back into wild at heart before it goes. Really great game. Love the art style and the pikmin like gameplay.
@FraserG Thanks. It's one of my few genuine complaints with Game Pass. I just don't understand why they can't give us the dates well ahead of time so we can prioritise properly. Not the first time I will have run out of time while playing a game. My more cynical side would say it's so they can increase sales after.
Whew! I completely Remnant From the Ashes just last week. Didn’t expect much, ended up having a really good time with it.

So bummed you cannot buy FFX on PC. As I am half way through it and no way I am getting it done in time
@Terrin You can buy it on PC, but you might need to go to the Microsoft Store. It's currently 20% off there due to leaving Game Pass soon.

I love Remnant. I bought it and its DLC. Unfortunately, this means I can't play with my game pass friends anymore.
Remnant was a sleeper hit for me, Just tried it randomly like 8 months ago and ended up running through the game twice! I really do not do that either... Give that ish a try if you are reading this. You can beat it in two weeks, especially if you open up multiplayer, random people will join your journey and once in a while you will meet someone cool who will really help you out or just be fun to wreck shop with haha
