Well, this came out of nowhere! 2K and Gearbox have announced that the classic Telltale Games series Tales From The Borderlands will be returning with a sequel later in 2022, but Telltale isn't actually involved this time around.
Instead, the game is being made in-house at Gearbox, as revealed as part of PAX East earlier today:
Details on the new Tales From The Borderlands game are very minimal at the moment, with the official description on Twitter simply stating that it's a new adventure with new characters and new tales.
Hopefully we'll get a trailer for this one soon — fingers crossed it ends up being as good as the original!

Considering I named one of my old guinea pigs "Loaderbot" after the first game... I can't wait for this!
Brilliant, the first TftB game is probably the funniest game i have ever played. Brilliant soundtrack and brilliant characters. Easily one of my favourite games.
I did try playing the first game in the main series but found it rather dull in comparison to it's spin off!

@Rural-Bandit This is "Tales from Borderlands" and very different from the mainline Borderlands games. But still highly suggest you look it up.
