Good news if you've been waiting for the latest entry in EA's popular football/soccer series to drop on EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as it looks like FIFA 22 is getting ready to join the two services in the very near future.
If you go on the Microsoft Store page for FIFA 22 right now, you should see that it says it's "included with EA Play", although that message appears to have gone live a bit early, For now, only the 10-hour trial seems to be working.
Whether we're looking at just a few hours, days or maybe even a few weeks, it shouldn't be long now before FIFA 22 drops on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Last year, FIFA 21 arrived on May 6th, so it's about the right time for FIFA 22.

It's also on playstation plus as one of its free games for May, so I'd deffo expect it to drop on gamepass next week
XBox has become the console I play FIFA on, so I haven't even bothered picking it up on PS Plus as I assumed it would be on EA Play imminently
This was inevitable, even before it was announced for PS+. It perhaps makes most sense to come at the very end of April, early May, just as the European football season is reaching its climax. It's also enough time ahead of the next season and so that it doesn't impact too much on sales of Fifa 23...
Fifa 22 is garbage, seemed like they stopped caring
Its on Game Pass app but its being shown as game pass for PC only for now.
Timing makes sense and it would be fun to play the newest FIFA on my new console.
Weird timing when you consider eaplay is also available on PlayStation

Gameplay wise, I prefer efootball. No kidding.
Yesterday the store page just had the trial up. Today it has a bug where is says "Available with EA Pkay - Get EA Play"
