343 has published its March 2022 update for Halo Infinite over on Halo Waypoint. The middle section of it focuses on the game's Season 2 multiplayer update - arriving on May 3rd. It's titled and themed "Lone Wolves" and will follow on from the conclusion of Season 1 on May 2nd.

In addition to this, 343 shared some concept art of two of the Lone Wolves (see above), coming in Season 2.

"That’s Spartan Sigrid Eklund on the left, and Spartan Hieu Dinh on the right. You’ll learn more about them (and spend more time with Spartan Commander Laurette Agryna) as you dive into Season 2’s story—a mix of cinematics, story-themed Events, Battle Pass items and more that embody the Lone Wolves theme."

In saying this, not all of the content in the second season will be directly linked to the theme & narrative of S2. Below is a concept painting of new free Fracture armour:

Apart from this, players can also expect playlist updates, balance changes, new modes and even some new maps in Season 2. The new modes include "Last Spartan Standing", free-for-all elimination, "Land Grab" and the return of "King of the Hill".

As for the new maps - players can look forward to the new Arena map "Catalyst" and the new BTB map "Breaker". Here's a look:
