The team at Mojang Studios has been celebrating an incredible milestone today, as Minecraft content has reached an unbelievable 1 trillion views on YouTube — and Xbox's Phil Spencer has even been joining in with the congratulations.

Taking to Twitter, Spencer thanked the Minecraft community for their incredible efforts:

Mojang also penned a letter to Minecraft fans earlier today, telling players that their content "inspires us to make Minecraft the best game it can be", and ultimately the describing the milestone as something "truly monumental".

"All of us at Mojang Studios are in awe of the creativity and ingenuity that the community shows us, each and every day. The builds you create, the tutorials you put together, the commentary that ranges from scathing to slightly less scathing – it inspires us to make Minecraft the best game it can be.

I have been tasked with the very honorable mission of thanking all of you, from the bottom of our blocky little hearts. We’re watching, we’re laughing, and we’re learning from you."

In other Minecraft news, Minecraft Dungeons unveiled its first seasonal adventure yesterday in the form of Cloudy Climb, which brings seasonal-exclusive rewards and a new, mysterious tower — available to try right now on Xbox.

On behalf of us here at Pure Xbox, congratulations Mojang Studios on the incredible achievement!
