The browser-based version of the Xbox Store has received very few updates in recent years, but Microsoft is embarking on a major overhaul of it in the near future, and it's already begun rolling out to users in Canada.
It's accessible right now to anyone who browses the Canadian version of the web store, and the main takeaway is that it now looks a lot more like the modern version on consoles and PC, and seems to load much quicker as well.
The Verge has highlighted some neat new features that were previously unavailable as well, such as "buttons to add games to wish lists, quick access to redeem codes, and full Xbox Cloud Gaming integration". Thanks to the latter, you can now just search for any supported Game Pass game and start playing immediately in your web browser (on PC).
Look out for a formal announcement of the new Xbox web store in the coming days / weeks.

Wow we get something first in Canada lol.
I'll pass on the first dibs if you give us them 2.5K monthly punchcards instead
Not before time.
Unified design on the frontend is much much better.
Hopefully the backend has had a makeover too, the old online store is creaking.
That's awesome, looks great, the current UI version is so ugly and outdated
