Activision has shared the first look at Call of Duty: Vanguard's multiplayer, diving in-depth into the maps, modes and guns you'll be able to use at launch.
Across 20 various maps set across the globe, players will have a wide variety of different locales to blow to bits with their buddies. The majority of the stream focused on various developers discussing changes for this year's iteration, which appears to be based on tactical gameplay. This involves destructible environments, tactical sprints and offering the player freedom in how they approach combat.
We'll be honest, as impressive as the buzzwords sound for Call of Duty: Vanguard, the gameplay shown looks largely the same as previous years. We'd be hard-pressed to truly spot any difference from previous entries. However, no doubt fans of the series will already be on board.
If you're not interested in watching the full in-depth discussion about Call of Duty: Vanguard, then check out the much shorter trailer below:
Xbox players will be able to check out the early access beta on September 16-17, with everyone joining in the fun on September 18-20. If you want to see if there are any improvements in the formula before its launch this November, this is your best chance.

Why even have "multiplayer reveals"?
I can sum it up in a single Tweet - "Pew pew pew. You get to shoot other people instead of AI!"
Remote controlled mini tank? Seeing a person unload a whole clip into a persons chest while they shrivel in slow motion? Not going to get me again COD.
It looks good but the destructionable environment has me worried. Going to have to wait and see how this one is especially after the crap that was Modern Warfare 2019 and Cold War.
Until Activision shows they actually care about cheating, I'm done with them...
Yep that looks like CoD.
I don't expect much from the anti cheat...but it would be nice if they where to ban every single scummy loser who cheats on PC or cheats using a Cronus or similar hardware
P.s 'm tired of seing the same pathetic excuse when cheaters get caught . 'I only cheat because everyone else cheats'
CoD MP just doesn't feel like fun anymore... the newer MW just felt stressful to play MP.
I actually just bought the discounted original Black Ops for a bit of nostalgia... Yeah it looks rough now, but it's still a hell of a lot more fun to play than the newer CoD games.
When it comes to some games, I can't help but be reminded of this part of a film. In the movie harold and Kumar go to white castle, the duo come across the "extreme douches". The song blasting from their SUV reminds me of cod and madden, "SAME OLD, SAME OLD, SAME OLD SONG!!"
All I want is four player split screen multiplayer
@StylesT They do ban them, they just buy another copy of the game and create a new account and continue cheating.
@Tasuki Modern Warfare 2019 was the best COD sinds COD 4 if you ask me. Alot more grounded and tactical than the games before it. But Cold War was a giant step back.
@Dutch_Bullet There was no tactic in Modern Warfare 2019 it was literally Camp Of Duty. All people did was camp in one spot and mount their gun. You got punished for moving around on the map, that is not what Call of Duty is about.
