Forza Horizon 5 is getting a ton of previews ahead of its launch, with Playground Games revealing new information every week. The latest has focused (partly) on the Eliminator mode, accompanied by 11 minutes of new gameplay.

Originally added to Forza Horizon 4 post-launch, the popular mode - which is claimed to be the series' most successful multiplayer mode to date - is arriving day one for Forza Horizon 5.

In the gameplay, 50 players are seen battling it out in a shrinking arena, with the twist that a racer can challenge another to a head-to-head race. These challenges can help kick out certain players, with the losers being eliminated. Winning races and exploring the map grants you faster cars, which you can use to help you gain an advantage.

Playground Games has said it had Eliminator mode in mind when designing the map, ensuring the head-to-head challenges force players to race down some stunning vistas. If you've never played Eliminator before, it's a fun and unique twist on the battle royale genre, and a mode fans of the series will be glad to see return.

If multiplayer isn't your cup of tea, the team also released a ton of single-player gameplay earlier this month, focusing on some of the new fun activities you'll be engaging in. There's not much longer to go until Forza Horizon 5 releases on November 9 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. Bring it on!
