There was a rumour flying around earlier this week courtesy of VentureBeat's Jeff Grubb, who suggested that he thought he'd heard Scarlet Nexus was launching into Xbox Game Pass, but that has been denied by Bandai Namco.
In a response to Video Games Chronicle, a spokesperson for the company had this to say:
“We have no plans to bring Scarlet Nexus to Xbox Game Pass at this time and are excited for its launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 25."
At the time, Grubb stated during the latest XboxEra Podcast that, "I think that's a Game Pass day one, I think, is what I heard," later going on to again reiterate, "I think they might have secured this one, yeah."
Grubb is typically very accurate with insider information, but it looks like he heard incorrectly on this occasion. In any case, Scarlet Nexus will be with us in just a couple of weeks, and is available to pre-order right now on the Xbox Store.

Don't get why people listen to this guy and his rumours
@Royalblues I'm in the same boat. New Genesis tomorrow!!! Then I got the digital deluxe of Scarlet Nexus preordered.
How many times does one person has to say “I think” and “might” before people jump the gun and claim “he confirmed it!”
Hell the phrasing is the denial still left room for the deal to still be on the table and it being closed at the last minute. But even if it does not, Jeff used plain English to make it clear it was not certain.
Jeff still has a higher accuracy rate than most out there, biggest mistake most people (and reporters) do is run with the rumors with headlines like “insider says this will happen!” and then bury the actual “might/likely” quotes deep in an article (let’s face it, we all know a huge chunk of the audience reads the first paragraph, tops, before making a big fuz about everything.)
@Royalblues Ah ! Glad to see that I'm not the only one to wait for NGS:PSO2 !! Do you know if there will be a separate launcher we have to download, or if it'll be a simple update of the existing game ?
@Bobobiwan it's the existing pso2 launcher when launched will have a option to select new genesis
Game Pass or not, it's a day one for me. I really enjoyed the demo. It would have been cool to get it for free but I'm not butt hurt to have to finally drop money on a game either.
It would have been great. Liked the demo but not enough to buy it full price.
I've had it pre-ordered for a bit now and don't have any plans to cancel it even if it launches on Game Pass.
