Yesterday provided us with a first look at Halo Infinite's free-to-play multiplayer component ahead of its release this Holiday, and 343 Industries has been talking more about it in a blog over at the official Halo Waypoint website.

In addition to sharing a bunch of screenshots which you can see below, it was highlighted that "limited pre-release technical previews" will be taking place later this summer, but you need to register now for a chance of being involved.

"Later this summer, we still plan for limited pre-release technical previews with Halo Insiders to help us stress test and improve the game on the road to launch. We’ll have a lot more details to share as we get closer but, in the meantime, make sure you’re registered with the Halo Insider program if you’d like an opportunity to potentially participate in future flights.

It’s quick, easy, and you’re free to opt in or out at any time, but please make sure your profile is up to complete and you’ve got a verified email on file or we won’t be able to contact you when the time comes."

There are a whole bunch of details highlighted about Halo Infinite's multiplayer over at Halo Waypoint, including the addition of bots for Training Mode and Custom Games, skill-based-matchmaking, "improved systems that deliver better communication of key info to players during a match", the return of Big Team Battle, limited-time seasonal events, your personal and highly-customisable Spartan, and much, much more!

If you want to get an even closer look, the Halo team is actually hosting a special event on YouTube later today at 4pm BST called the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Overview, containing more details on what you can expect.
