Watch Dogs: Legion's 60FPS Mode Is Coming Soon To Xbox Series X|S

Update: We now have word that the update will be arriving on June 1, along with cross-gen play and a ton of other new features.

Original Story: Ubisoft announced back in early April that Watch Dogs: Legion would be getting a much-requested 60fps performance mode for Xbox Series X and Series S, and now it'll officially be implemented with the game's next title update.

Arriving as part of title update 4.5, the 60fps performance is described as "one of the biggest requests from our next-gen console players," with Ubisoft stating that the team is "very excited to bring this to the game."

"TU 4.5 also brings the Tactical Op, Project OMNI, as well as one of the biggest requests from our next-gen console players, 60FPS performance mode. We’re very excited to bring this to the game!"

"You’ll be able to read full list of TU 4.5 fixes and improvements when we release the patch notes closer to launch."

Until now, Watch Dogs: Legion has only been able to run at 30fps on next-gen consoles - even on Xbox Series X - although it does support ray tracing in its current state. We're assuming the performance mode will switch this off.

Excited to try Watch Dogs: Legion at 60fps on Xbox Series X & S? Let us know down in the comments.
