Update: As expected, the demo also now appears to be coming to Xbox One on May 21.
Original story: Bandai Namco's Scarlet Nexus will be with us in just one month on June 25, but before that we're getting a timed exclusive demo on Xbox, arriving May 21 for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, and May 28 for PS4 and PS5.
The dates were announced by Bandai Namco España on Twitter earlier today:
Players will also be rewarded for trying the demo with "FSA Standard Pack (black) and Plug-in "Power Increase: Mk II" for playing with Kasane, and "Rabbit Ears" Hat (white) and Plug-in Force Field: Mk II" for playing with Yuito.
In addition, a batch of new gameplay has dropped for Scarlet Nexus today alongside some previews of the game, and you can find 13 minutes of raw footage courtesy of Game Informer in the video at the top of this article.

@abe_hikura not really no, either way you get to try the game before it's release date so time exclusive demos are absolutely pointless, pure one console exclusive demos on the other hand are another story

@Trmn8r indeed its not, I get buying timed exclusive games as they will sell systems to those who can't wait, but demos? No ones going to buying a system because it got a demo exclusive for a week, same thing happened with resident evil it's ridiculous.

@UltimateOtaku91 sure it’s silly. But just like with Sony; I’d rather exclusivity things are like this or full timed games rather than bits and pieces of games.
Anyway I’m sooo excited for this game. A few “impression” videos are out not full reviews yet, but looks good. Can’t wait to play.

As others have said, a timed exclusive demo is dumb. Now, the fact that there will be a demo at all is good news.
While I'm looking forward to the game and have had it pre-ordered for a while, getting to try the game out for myself beforehand is never a bad thing. Although I fully expect to, it gives me a chance to make sure I'll like it.
