Mass Effect Legendary Edition will be with us very, very soon, but unfortunately there's already an Xbox related bug that you'll want to be aware of when using certain accessories - particularly wireless headsets.
The team at BioWare and EA say they have identified an issue where the game will crash to the dashboard when using "accessories like wireless headsets," and the team is "working with Microsoft to fix this ASAP in a post-launch update."
"We’re currently working with Microsoft to fix this ASAP in a post-launch update. In the meantime to start playing the game, we recommend you do not use any extra peripherals until this is resolved. Wired headphones are still ok to use."
There is some good news if you want to use Mass Effect Legendary Edition with your brand-new Xbox Wireless Headset, however. As a workaround, you can use the following instructions to keep playing:
1. Ensure your wireless headset is turned off
2: Launch Mass Effect Legendary Edition from the dashboard.
3: Once you are at the launcher screen with the game, choose Mass Effect 1, 2 or 3.
4. Once you are at the title screen for either Mass Effect 1, 2 or 3 you can now turn on your headset, and you will be able to play with audio working as normal.
Keep in mind that if you return to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition launcher screen to select a different game while the wireless headset is connected, the game will reportedly crash to the dashboard - so don't do it!
Hopefully it won't be long until this issue is fixed and these accessories work as intended.
Are you planning to use your Xbox Wireless Headset with Mass Effect? Let us know down in the comments.

This was driving me mad for about 30 minutes while I was trying to have a quick game before the kids came home. Glad it's been recognised!
I just got this headset and use it on my series X, so it's good to know about bugs like these.
Incidentally, I was updating my series s controller a couple of days ago and it kept insisting that it needed a USB cable attached and that one wasn't (which was correct).
Well as we know you can update wirelessly, so I tried unplugging the official headset volume controller adapter and bingo, it allowed the update to happen. That was official hardware and the dashboard, so I guess it's not surprising that these glitches happen in games occasionally too.
