We've been scanning the Microsoft Store today following a crazy deal for NBA 2K21 which popped up in the US, and we've also noticed that Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age has gone on sale for the next two weeks.
This is likely in conjunction with today's big anniversary stream, where the deal will probably be officially announced. The discount is 35% across the board, bringing it down to a very reasonable price of £22.74 / $25.99.
Don't forget that Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age is part of Xbox Game Pass at the moment, but given how huge of a game it is, you might want to pick it up permanently if you're planning to take your time with it.

I hope this doesn't mean Dragon Quest XI S is leaving Game Pass in two weeks...
This game is SOOO good and worth every penny.
I have GamePass and still bought the disk, might get digital too, so i have it when it leaves GP!
@101Force So far, think all square Enix games in GamePass have staid they’re for 12 months.
A game worth owning, for sure. Besides, we should support this high-quality Japanese Xbox support as much as possible.
I already own it on the Switch, but I double dipped and bought the Windows 10 version to play on the laptop as well. I'm sick what can I say

Seriously this game should be played by anyone that enjoyed Yakuza Like A Dragon. That games combat was heavily influenced by Dragon Quest. The constant Dragon Quest references in dialog was not just lip service.
Also should be played by Dragon Ball fans, if only due to the art direction.
I was upset when the Nintendo 3DS version was not localised because I liked the dual graphics concept but now I have the definitive edition on Xbox 😊.

I’ve completed it on Gamepass and got the 1000g but i’m still tempted to buy it to support it on Xbox. Feel like doing the same with DQ Builders 2 and the Yakuza series as well. Really hope this deal is working out well for Microsoft and Square Enix so that it continues ❤️
DQ XI S is one of the best JRPGs I have ever played. With that and Like A Dragon, the end of 2020 was too good!
