If the idea of being against the clock to play the Resident Evil Village demo has got you sweating, then Capcom is here to ease the burden a little bit by allowing you to pre-download it now ahead of it going live this weekend.
The time limited demo has been extended from 24 hours to a week, but you can prepare yourself ahead as the demo is up on the Microsoft Store. While you won't be able to play until it goes live this weekend, you can ensure everything is in order. The time it goes live depends on your time zone, so be sure to check out its availability below.
You'll be able to experience an hour of the game during the period it's available, so you'll still be against the clock as you power through. But if you want to get a taste before release or are sitting on the fence, then be sure to check it out.

@SegataSanshiro I missed the 30-minute Village demo because I was out of town the evening it was dropped, but was able to play the 30-minute Castle demo.
I really enjoyed what I played - combat can be quite tense; though I do feel that some of that tension might have been heightened by the fact that there is only 30-minutes to get through everything (and there is a lot to explore) so you are almost rushed through combat segments when they occur. I finished the Castle demo with like 24 seconds left in my play time and that was only because I started to rush through things once I saw my time getting low. I probably could have easily run out of time mid-demo.
Exploration feels good - not knowing what will be around the next bend really helps with the whole spooky aspect.
I am looking forward to playing the Xbox Series X version - which is the version I intend to buy. I am not expecting any drastic difference between the XSX version and PS5 version; but it's nice that I have the ability to experience both console versions for the fun of it!
I would say, it's a great experience (minus the time constraint).
