It Takes Two's High Review Scores Praised By Xbox Boss Phil Spencer

Hazelight Studios' Josef Fares is a controversial character, but he sure knows how to make a great game. Following the huge success of the EA Originals title A Way Out in 2017, his team has hit gold again with the upcoming It Takes Two.

The first reviews for the co-op adventure went live earlier today, and the vast majority have been highly positive, with the game even sitting on a 90 Metacritic score at one point. In response, Xbox boss Phil Spencer shared this message:

"Congrats Josef. You and the team do a great job in your games thinking through the player journey, emotion and setting. Also a huge fan of your focus on co-op gameplay.

Can't wait to play It Takes Two with friends."

Fares has been in the news in recent weeks for being very vocal on his thoughts about the "confusing" naming structure of Xbox consoles, and he also had some very kind words to say about Phil Spencer in an interview with Major Nelson.

His latest game is off to a great start, then, and it'll be available to pick up this Friday, March 26 - with a free Friend's Pass available for anyone you want to play it with online. We'll also have a review in the near future!

Will you be picking up It Takes Two later this week? Let us know down in the comments below.
