The time has finally arrived! After originally being expected to arrive last year, EA Play is now finally joining Xbox Game Pass for PC tomorrow, March 18th, bringing over 60 EA games to the service for PC players.
Available at 2pm PT, you'll be able to download the EA Desktop app within the Xbox app to get access to these games, which include Command & Conquer, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, The Sims 4, Titanfall 2 and much more, as well as Star Wars: Squadrons, which officially joins the EA Play library tomorrow across all platforms.
Like on console, you'll also be able to access 10-hour trials of the newest EA games such as FIFA 21 and Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, as well as get other benefits such as discounts on EA digital purchases.

This would be more exciting if I had GP and gamed on PC but good for the many people who fall into that category.
I have Gamepass and a PC and I'm not sure there's anything I want to play on that list. No matter there are quite a few recent additions for me to play plus Nier and Octopath Traveller coming soon
Nice little bonus (yet another) but not much here for me tbh.
Whilst my pc is pretty ancient ( I have bought an xbox 360, ps4, xbox one, series s and ps5 since buying that, and even back then it was only about £250), it is more than capable of running Command and Conquer Remastered so I will definitely go back to Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2 and Generals now.
Great news for PC players, Gamepass = best deal in gaming..
I really hope more games are listed tomorrow when it goes live. Right now, the EA Play app is missing some advertised games (the current count sits at 137 games) - primarily the Command & Conquer games.
NOTE: Just because a game is on Origin doesn't mean it is available on the EA Play App. The App even has a warning:
"Not seeing all the games from Origin?
Don’t fret. We’re adding titles to the beta all the time. If your game isn’t here, it will be soon. Any games missing from the beta are still available to play on Origin."
Also to note: once your Game Pass is linked, you aren't required to use the Game Pass App to install/play EA Play games - you are free to use the EA Play app, instead.
