DOOM Eternal's second expansion, The Ancient Gods - Part Two, will be launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC on March 18, Bethesda has announced.
Concluding the events of The Ancient Gods - Part One, the next and final DLC instalment promises more firepower, hellish enemies, and impressive set pieces to wage war within.
"Experience the epic conclusion to the DOOM Slayer’s saga – available March 18th, 2021! The Ancient Gods – Part Two is the second campaign expansion to the critically acclaimed DOOM Eternal.
You denied the gods and awoke an ancient evil. Now rally the scattered Sentinel armies, lay siege to the last bastion of Hell, break through the fortress walls, and face the Dark Lord himself. The soul of the universe hangs in the balance.
Your war against Hell ends here."
As shown in the trailer, a Deluxe Edition of DOOM Eternal will also be available from tomorrow, which includes the game, all the post-launch DLC, a Demonic Slayer Skin, and a Classic Weapons Sound Pack. But obviously, the expansion can also be picked up individually, if you so wish.

Okay, I have way too much to play. Dropping this a day after the Outer Worlds DLC...will get to this down the road for sure though.
I'm still not understanding why Xbox first party DLC isn't included in GPU? The Gears 5 DLC is what i expect from all 1st party studios... included in gamepass.
@Krzzystuff Give it time!
@Spaceman-Spiff with Doom i get it as they just acquired them but the Forza, Outer World's etc...why do i have to pay? It's a first party product so i want it day n date. I'm greedy i know but I just joined Xbox in November and when I started playing Forza Horizon 4 for the first time i realized its not a full game due to missing DLC. Gimme gimme!
I'm excited about this. With that being said, I really did not like part 1 of The Ancient Gods much. Some of the locations were downright frustrating to navigate through. Nevertheless, I'll still be giving this ago because Doom Eternal is one of my favorite games of recent memory.
@Krzzystuff I agree, I was also surprised when I saw that the Forza DLC wasn't included. I think it may have something to do with Playground Games not actually being a 1st party studio when it was being developed? Same with Obsidian and The Outer Worlds. Whereas Gears 5 and The Initiative were 1st party the whole time.
I would strongly expect that in the case of Doom Eternal's DLC it is only a matter of time until that gets added to GP though, along with Doom 2016.
I still need to play Doom Eternal, So many games in my backlog i don't know where to start..
@Bmartin001 it is soo hard to choose isn't it? I I was just going to finish Doom Eternal before I started Outer World's and bam... savage planet leaving gamepass...so I'm playing savage planet now. After that it's finish Doom and then Battlefield 1 campaign. Free up some SSD space. Also have to finish RE7...but i don't want to lol. Creepy as F that game.
@Spaceman-Spiff but if they developed it outside of being a 1st party it shouldn't matter now that they are. I hope it's something that's adjusted down the line. If they just make it a GPU perk then so be it but i would like the full game.
I hope eventually all xbox 1st party games dlc comes with game pass ultimate
I’ll wait for the series X update to jump in. Playing Control now, then Fallout 4. Letting the updates dictate what I play next!
