UK retailer Box.co.uk has revealed to Pure Xbox that it will have another Xbox Series X restock later this week on Friday, February 12th, but you need to sign up NOW for a chance of being able to purchase one.
As with previous restocks from the retailer, it will be holding a ballot to ensure everyone gets an equal chance of getting their hands on a new console, with all lucky customers set to be contacted by email.
- Box.co.uk (register into the Xbox Series X ballot)
According to the retailer's website, those who entered into the previous Box.co.uk ballot will be automatically entered into this draw, so be sure to check your emails to see if you've been successful later this week!
"Box.co.uk have decided to run a ballot system for the new Xbox Series X while stock is in such constraint and demand is so high. The ballot system allows customers to sign up with their email address and name in order to be in with a chance of being selected at random to purchase a console."

Seems like a fair system. Has anyone here used Box before? What are they like? I already have a Series X, but am still on the hunt for a PS5.
@Nightcrawler71 It’s definitely better than nothing but the problem with this is email accounts can be made in bulk very easily through scripts, effectively increasing your chances many times over.
It would be better if they also asked for a fixed shipping postcode at this stage and limited winning postcodes. Much harder to set up fake postal addresses
@themightyant You don't even need scrips. Just create a few domain names and a catchall address on all of them.
@sanderev Absolutely. Though a script, if you already have one, will be much faster. Additionally there are lots of tricks with email like using dots in Gmail or adding a '+' sign to use the same inbox but make it appear like a different email address allowing for multiple entries from the same email.
It's very difficult to account for all this, believe me, i've tried in a few web apps i've built, which is why a fixed shipping postcode would be a better solution. Though it's not without it's own flaws and problems.
As this is the UK each individual postcode covers 1-100 houses, though normally around 15. Limiting it to one xbox per postcode, or manually checking the few that DO match, would be a better solution. Again the system can be gamed to an extent but not as readily as email.
Regardless a small step in the right direction.
