As we've already noted this weekend, Microsoft put out a list highlighting (almost) 30 games coming to Xbox as console launch exclusives in 2021 recently, but also teased that it has "so much more in store".
A developer at DICE added to this by suggesting the company has "quite a few games" still to announce for 2021, and now Windows Central editor and noted Xbox insider Jez Corden has also clarified what he knows.
"[The list] did say that it was all the announced games, as if to say more are coming too, and I know of at least two games - big games - that aren't on that list, that are coming from Xbox in 2021."
Jez made these comments on the latest episode of The Xbox Two podcast, where he also explained that he didn't want to "ruin the teams' surprise" as he believes the developers should get to announce it first.
"When it comes to stuff that I don't think will leak, I think it's much cooler if the announcement comes as part of a surprise, part of a big show, and the team gets to announce it themselves."
It's previously been suggested by reliable insider Jeff Grubb that he thinks Forza Horizon 5 might arrive in 2021, but apart from that, it's anyone's guess as to what else Microsoft might still have prepared for this year.

The 2021 part is throwing me off and makes me think it would be more AA experiences like Battletoads. With that said, Splinter Cell or a return to Jet Set Radio would be cool...

Forza Horizon 5, or Festivals as its been rumoured to be called will be one. Probably launching cross gen September.
The other I have a feeling will be Starfield but they can't say anything on that until the deal officially closes. Could be an October launch.
That would cover them from September to Nov with a huge AAA game each month being Forza Horizon 5, Starfield and Halo Infinite.

Starfield was announced back in 2018 with no actual platforms or date apart from saying "our next-generation, single-player epic". Never heard anything since then about it really.
I'd assume MS mean officially announced as coming in 2021, which Starfield isn't at this point.
I would certainly hope so, as their main AAA is a 2020 game. We are definitely starting to feel the impact of the pandemic now.
Rumors that Wolfenstein 3 is pretty much done. Could be that.
Probably The Last of Us 2 port 😛 Let's just wait and see. All these posts are is news that more news is on the way.

My guesses are Gears of War: The Marcus Fenix Collection (PC/Xbox) and Rare Replay (PC/Switch).

Hmm Forza Horizon 5 is a safe bet for one. As for the other, I think it may be a different Double Fine game. They've been making Psychonauts 2 for a while now and it's been a while since they released a game. Don't know if it qualifies as "big" but that's what I reckon.
Edit: reading the comments I definitely think Marcus Fenix collection of even more likely Wolfenstein 3 are the candidates. Especially with MachineGames announcing the Indiana Jones one already.
@Grot i understand the business need to have exclusive titles to grow the user base and i believe that a company the size of Microsoft does as well. But i don't get it the unhealthy fascination that gamers have with it. Multiplat or not if it's from an Xbox games studio i get it at no extra charge in gamepass day one. If you have an Xbox and are subscribed to gamepass how does it impact you or your enjoyment if the game you play is exclusive or not. Personally the word exclusive is in the same category as social distancing from 2020....the ***** pile
There are rumors that Hades will be coming to Xbox, and the rumors are rumbling pretty hard. That said--I don't think that game is one of the big unannounced games, but it would still be nice to get it. Lol.
@Bmartin001 I really like jez.and I appreciate rands opinions but I find he gets really really defensive on each podcast. He could just not mention some of the negative twitter /pms he gets but decided he has to bring them up alot.

The rumours I heard is they have secured another studio and that studio had an unnanounced game which will be coming to xbox this year.
But shrugsbi dunno anythjng anymore but the end of 2022 you either are fully small indie or owned by own of the remaining like 5 publishers haha
I'd be really disappointed if it's just another Forza game. Those games are great and everything, but it's way past time Xbox had something else to look forward to in terms of big AAA games that aren't Forza, Halo, or Gears. I know Fable and Perfect Dark are announced, but those could 2-3 years away at the least.
