The official Halo Twitter account has issued a reminder, noting how there's "still time" to log into the Halo: The Master Chief Collection between now and 23rd January and score an exclusive "117 Day" nameplate.
"Have you grabbed your exclusive 117 Day Nameplate yet? There's still time - log into MCC between now and Jan. 23rd at 4PM PT to add it to your armory!"
117, for anyone who hasn't played Halo, are the numbers associated with Master Chief (also known as John-117). Will you be returning to The Master Chief Collection to unlock this exclusive plate? Tell us below.

Well, seeing as I don't have the MCC, I guess the answer to that question is a solid "no".
@ThanosReXXX It's on Game Pass if you have that.
@sakanakami I'm afraid not. I'm also not really interested in Game Pass, because I don't have enough spare time to make the most out of that, and I also don't like the forced, timed nature of having certain games only available for a certain amount of time.
Currently, I also still have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.
@ThanosReXXX, your Gold subscription would get converted to Game Pass Ultimate when you subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate. With the timed nature of games on the service it's not different from shows and movies on Netflix. Plus first party games won't leave the service.
When is this available and how do I recieve it?
I've logged in numerous times and looked for the nameplate.....its simply nowhere to be found, at least not during my 20 minutes of looking this morning
@sakanakami I know all that, but my point was that no matter the price, I find it quite senseless to pay for something that I'll hardly use. I mainly continue Xbox Live Gold to collect the free games.
Other than that, I only play games in the weekends, usually alone and offline, so Game Pass represents little value to me.
Regardless of all that, I still appreciate your comments.
