Earlier today, the Sony-owned anime streaming service Funimation announced a new-look app for all platforms including the Xbox Series X|S.
According to a post on the company's official website, the new design will be released on the Nintendo Switch today and will follow with a next-gen rollout "and more" over the coming months.
"While the app debuts on Nintendo Switch first, it will be rolling out to other platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and more in the coming months."
This new design is described as a "refreshing rework" of the same anime app fans know and love.
It promises to include a brand-new look and feel, all-new curations, a "My Anime" page, an anime launch schedule - so you can keep up to date with the latest eps, and much more.

This looks much less terrible than the current app, which is so terrible, I cancelled my subscription.
