Bet you never expected to see God of War's Kratos on Xbox! Well, here he is...

Of course, it's not in the form of a brand-new God of War game or anything like that, but rather a purchasable Fortnite skin for the series' lead character Kratos, along with some additional accessories and emotes.

Here's what God of War story director and writer Cory Barlog had to say about the addition:

“Having Kratos in Fortnite is a mashup that we’ve been talking about for a long time, so it’s especially gratifying to see the collaboration come to fruition! The first thing I’ll do with Kratos in the game is hold hands or maybe go for a moonlit stroll with Mancake. I’m most excited about the Guardian Shield glider, that thing is AWESOME.

The big question now from an Xbox perspective is whether Fortnite will also introduce a Halo crossover at some point during its new season, which was recently rumoured with a series of apparently leaked screenshots.

Master Chief in Fortnite? Yes please! But we suppose Kratos will make do for now...
