FIFA 21, Madden 21 To Receive Xbox Series X/S Upgrades This December

There was a bit of surprise when EA Sports' FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 were missing from the Xbox Series X|S launch day lineup, but now we've finally got an official date.

The company says that both titles will be released for next-gen on December 4th, available as free upgrades for Xbox One owners of those games via EA's own 'Dual Entitlement' service.

FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 for Xbox Series X|S will reportedly boast "blazing fast load times, the most realistic, fluid player movement ever in EA Sports titles, authentic game day experiences inside stadiums and new player detail unlocked by deferred rendering and lighting," but no further details have been shared thus far.

The two games are expected to work via backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in the meantime, but keep in mind that only certain parts of your progress will ultimately transfer over to the next-gen versions. You can find out more details on this over at the official EA Dual Entitlement FAQ for each title.
