If you've been thinking about buying Codemasters' highly underrated 2018 racer Onrush from the Microsoft Store for Xbox One recently, you might have noticed that the game has disappeared entirely.
The reason for this, according to Codemasters, is that Onrush is currently in need of a "security server update" on Xbox One, and thus multiplayer will be "shortly unavailable" until December.
The company says it's planning to compensate all players with free in-game virtual currency, and it sincerely apologises for the convenience. In the meantime, the single-player portion of the game is unaffected.
Unfortunately, Onrush probably doesn't have that much longer left in the tank given its poor sales at release, but hopefully it'll stick around for at least another year for those who are still enjoying it.
