If you're a fan of the multiplayer survival horror game Dead by Daylight, we've got some great news! The game is getting a 4K, 60FPS upgrade on Xbox Series X, and it will be available at no extra charge (via Gematsu).
The update, which is arriving this Holiday for the next-gen system, will allow all your progress to carry over from the Xbox One version with a "seamless transition." That sounds pretty great to us!
Additionally, the game will reportedly be getting visual improvements every six weeks following the current Chapter and Archive roadmap, and those upgrades won't just be limited to next-gen, with every platform receiving a "massive graphical overhaul."
Here's what Dead by Daylight director Mathieu Cote had to say in a press release:
“The game you know and love is stepping into the future. The team has been focused on this plan for an entire year and we’re so excited to bring you Dead by Daylight as you’ve never seen it before, while still offering new Chapters and Archives. This is ambitious, and we’re ready.”
