Tony Hawk On Pro Skater Remasters: 'This Is Just A Start'

Tony Hawk has been talking to Game Informer ahead of the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 later this September, revealing that he feels the remaster is "just a start" for what's to come.

Hawk made this comment when asked about the potential of further games, explaining that he was excited for veterans of the series to jump back into it, as well as complete newcomers:

"I feel like with that baseline, we're going to be able to really help either remaster other titles that we've done, [like] three and four even, and start to work on new direction. That's the ultimate goal for me."

Of course, Hawk also went on to talk more about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, reiterating that he felt developer Vicarious Visions had done a great job at replicating the original two games:

"I'm excited about [Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2]. I think it's everything that people are going to expect from it, and I think that people are going to be pleasantly surprised with how true to the original it is."

If you haven't pre-ordered it yet, the game is available right now at the Microsoft Store website in two different versions, and everyone who pre-orders digitally will get free access to a Warehouse Demo on August 14th.
