You might remember that late last month, we reported that Xbox Live GM Dan McCulloch was leaving Microsoft after spending 15 years with the company. Now, he's announced that he's joined EA as part of the Skate team.
The next entry in the Skate series was recently revealed at EA Play Live 2020, and McCulloch explained on Twitter that he's joining the the team as Studio GM on the new title:
"Today, I'm incredibly excited to share that I'm going to be joining the SKATE family @EA as Studio GM. I've been a huge fan of @skateEA for over a decade, and now I'm honored to be part of that amazing community. Be on the lookout for more information coming in the future!"
Following the announcement, Xbox boss Phil Spencer passed on his best wishes, calling Skate a "great franchise" and stating that he's "really happy for [Dan] that he's realizing a dream of leading a team building a game."
